 Buying a property?
If you are considering buying a property, you will probably have a building society survey, or valuation carried out. You may also decide to have a Homebuyers report or even a full survey.
Property Inspections
When you receive your report, there may be a recommendation for a Specialist Damp and Timber company to inspect the property, and this is where Hitchin Damp & Timber come in. You may of course, already be living in the house and found something that concerns you, either way call us, e-mail us or use our on-line enquiry form and we will make an appointment to visit.
Have your details ready
When you do call, we will need to know: The nature of the problem and the age of the property, the address of the property to be inspected , your name and the address to which we can write to you, and a telephone number to contact you on. We also like to know where you came to hear of us.

We aim to make contact within 24 hours of receiving an enquiry, to arrange an inspection. |

Arrangements are made for an agreed weekday morning or afternoon. |

We aim to complete most inspections within ten working days and to despatch a report if appropriate, within 5 days. |

Daylight evening, and Saturday appointments can also be made, however these limited opportunities get taken up in advance and may have to be booked up well ahead. |

An overnight summary of our findings can be sent by e-mail if requested. |

Work can normally be commenced within two weeks of being instructed. |
